This Korean beauty treatment is billed as a semi-permanent foundation. I would steer clear. Personally, I wouldn’t want a mystery pigmented substance microneedled into my skin. There’s no way of telling how your skin will react, and I imagine the potential for infection or inflammatory response is pretty big. The only substances that should be actually delivered into the skin through microchannels created by needles are the kind used during professional microneedling or mesotherapy treatments – pure (containing one or very few concentrated ingredients), sterile and medical-grade – specifically formulated and tested for biocompatibility within the skin.
