Hi, could you give me your opinion on the Opatra skincare and equipment? They have bullied me into purchasing quite a lot of their products and given me a substantial discount. I’m not sure if I should keep the products or return them. Your advice would be much appreciated.
Hiya, TTG editor Georgia here. Two immediate red flags – you feel they’ve bullied you into buying, and they’ve added a further incentive with a big discount. I’m guessing you’ve been in contact with a rep from the company who has sales targets to meet… I haven’t personally used anything from Opatra but I have to say I’m gobsmacked at the prices of their skincare, let alone the devices. £99 for a foaming cleanser? £299 for a HA serum? Even with a big discount, if I were you I would return the products and seek advice from a skincare practitioner who can assess your skin and help you build a routine that includes effective products and tweakments (if you want them) within your budget.
Alice says she has tried some of their equipment and is also completely baffled to know how they can justify such high prices since they do not offer any clinical proof that their devices make the difference to the face and skin that they suggest. And in the future, if you feel pressured or bullied into parting with your cash, walk away!
