Hi there, I’m looking at purchasing a LED home treatment. I’m 48 and am looking for something to brighten and help with broken capillaries and some congestion around the nose. I’m looking at buying the Current Body and the MZ Golden Face (so that I have near-red and blue light in two devices. Also looking at Deesse Pro at £1,400, or is it worth the splurge of the Dermalux, as I would rather invest a bit more now than end up buying all three in a year’s time. Would you recommend the investment?
Hi, I prefer the Dermalux as it’s genuine medical-grade equipment which those others you mention are not, and it’s more flexible and you can use it on the body as well as the face. It has red, blue, and near-IR wavelengths, so there’s no need to invest in more than one device. It also gets fab, measurable results. Remember that with LED the results come from cumulative exposure to the light so the more you do, the better the results. The other brand to look at who also offer medically certified home-use LED devices are Celluma, so take a look at them, too.
