I have red and purple thread veins on my legs and have tried so many treatments over the years (and wasted a lot of money). Sclerotherapy worked quite well but when I went back the consultant did not feel he could improve them anymore. I have had various laser treatments with varying effects and it seems such a minefield. I don’t really know where to start but feel that there should be a treatment that can get rid of them.
Sclerotherapy ought to work well for thread veins on the legs – but if your consultant feels there’s no more he can do, I’m not sure what to add. There are many practitioners on the TTG register who treat thread veins but what I can’t say is whether they will have more success than your consultant.
