I have vitiligo and I’m 43. What treatments can I not consider? Despite following so many experts, it’s talked about so little.
Hi, vitiligo is a difficult skin-depigmentation disorder to live with as there is no cure for it and most treatments have little or no effect. It’s thought to be an autoimmune condition where the body gradually destroys melanocytes, the cells that generate pigment in the skin. You ask what treatments you should not consider – if you mean tweakments, I would discuss this with your practitioner to see which treatments they are happy to give you.
