I wondered if you can help advise me for who to go to for a facelift or just possible correction for previously being overfilled? I had all the filler dissolved a year ago, supposedly it’s all gone, it’s a massive improvement but I still don’t look how I did before and I’m not getting any luck with my usual cosmetic doctors. I’m just being told it’s all gone. I don’t know if it’s just made my face sag or there’s something in my face still as I still look bigger in my face than I did before, even though my weight is now what it was before. I have had so many treatments – two Endolift etc – and nothing has returned me to how I looked before. I have looked at your recommended list of practitioners but I’m struggling to narrow it down to the best. I was looking at Georgios Orfaniotis for facelift/ correction surgery? I wondered if you know of him? Or do you know anyone that particularly specialises in previous dermal filler overfilling and issues after. Many thanks – any help is appreciated.

Hiya, TTG editor Georgia here. It might be worth finding a practitioner who works with MRI so you can have a full scan of your face to see where any remaining filler may be. Alice had this done recently and there was a lot more hanging around than she thought. George Orfaniotis is great – I don’t know whether he works with MRI imaging or not, so it would be worth asking him. One surgeon who does is Daniel Ezra who is an eye specialist but also does mid-face surgery and is very hot on filler dissolving, so get in touch with him, too, to enquire.
