What do you think is the most effective treatment for sagging jawline?
Hi, it really depends on your particular sagging jawline – which I know is an annoying way to start an answer, but it’s true.
If you have a heavy face and well-padded jowls that are sagging, you might be looking at fat-busting tweakments like CoolSculpting or fat-dissolving injections.
We all get general sagging along the jaw as we get older and we lose not just the fat that props up younger faces but also bone, from the bony arches of the forehead, the cheekbones and the jaw – and then gravity gets to work on the skin.
One treatment that is great for anyone whose skin is starting to slacken is radiofrequency microneedling, which tightens the skin and can target fat if it is used deep enough.
Though a surgeon would probably say: cut to the chase and get a lower face lift.
So what’s best for you? Find a great practitioner – there are loads of people who I would trust with my face on the site here – and sit down for a consultation with them to get their expert opinion on what would work best for you.
