What is it? A family-run business making skincare in Cornwall.
What’s the USP? All the creams are based on old country recipes that have been handed down over the years. ‘We do not buy in any bases,’ says the website, ‘but start from scratch using ingredients such as beeswax, essential oils, infused oils, honey and flower waters.’ Quite a labour of love, in other words, but the results are lovely.
Hero product? Enriched moisturiser (I’m guessing, but it’s the one I’ve tried, and it’s a great, not-too-oily cream that wind-battered winter skin just slurps up). £6.50, bskincare.co.uk
I’d try… The Muscle And Joint Cream looks tempting, as does the Aloe Vera Cream, above. Both are £6.50
