Dolce Vita palette: Charlotte Tilbury

What’s the USP? New make-up-and-skincare range with the very special rock-n-roll beauty glamour that super-celeb make-up-artist Charlotte Tilbury — with her Titian tresses, poise, charm and black-outlined-eyes — brings to the party. She’s been working at the highest levels of the beauty industry for 20 years and has done plenty of consulting on other brands; now, she has piled all her know-how into creating her own products.

Charlotte's Magic Cream

Hero product? Probably the Magic Cream (£70, at Selfridges and It looks like an old-fashioned cold cream, thick and white and glossy, but sinks in beautifully and gives skin such a shiny glow that you hardly need a radiance booster on top.

Feline Flick fineliner

How new is it? Launched this autumn. The packaging is gorgeous, the product names are enticing and they all really deliver, so it’s an all-round instant hit.

I’d try… browsing the website for all the irresistible and typically-Tilbury looks — from  Rock-Chick via Rebel to Uptown Girl — which Charlotte then tells you how to recreate, and what products you’ll need for each one. One thing you have to have is the Feline Flick (£22), a felt-pen-style black eyeliner pen inspired by Shodo Japanese calligraphy. It goes on like a dream, dries fast and won’t move until you tackle it with  make-up remover.
