HER HAIR nourishing ritual

What is it?  Luxurious haircare range, co-owned and co-created by John Barrowman.

What’s the USP? Inspired by the art and nature that surrounds Villa Floriani (in the Veneto, in Italy)… which is more interesting than it sounds as the villa is home to a very chic lab dedicated to researching the cosmetic possibilities of plant extracts.  As for Mr Barrowman, he has seen at first hand just what women’s hair gets put through when in the stylist’s chair – so has come up with a range to cosset and coax hair back into brilliant shape.

Hero product? Trecento (£30), a treatment product that is clinically proven to ‘rebuild and repair’ hair in one 300-second (five minutes, for anyone else like me who has difficulty with basic maths) use.

How new is it? Launched summer 2013.

I’d try… The shampoo and conditioner from the new Nourishing collection, which are lovely (as they should be, at £15 apiece). They aim to give protection and condition to distressed tresses and they do a very nice job of delivering weightless body and shine, as promised. Find them on thisisher.co.uk or catch them on QVC.
