What is it? It’s a high end cosmeceutical skincare range launched by sisters Irma and Carla Khajian who worked at the Swiss biotech company that developed the original La Peau technology with Stanford University. Irma and Carla liked the product so much that they bought out the shareholder and have now launched La Peau across the world.
What’s the USP? It’s a three-product, daily-use skincare range with a special ‘BCell Complex’ that has shown in clinical trials to reduce the number of wrinkles by 33 per cent along with a 28 per cent decrease in the total length of wrinkles around the eyes in just 28 days.
Hero product? The Night Cream-Gel: Age-Defying Complex (£95, at selected branches of Fenwick – it’s certainly in the one at Brent Cross, not sure whether it’s in the Bond Street branch. For more info, see lapeauskincare.com), a lovely, light feeling gel that doesn’t leave a greasy residue and has amazing results (see above).
Why the name? La Peau means ‘The Skin’ in French.
How new is it? Just launched earlier this month.
