The TTG Team Share Their 2025 Tweakment & Skincare Resolutions

21st December 2024

From investing more in a skincare routine (and not just chopping and changing constantly!) to finally treating an irritating skin concern, the Tweakments Guide team have shared their resolutions for 2025 and beyond. Let them be your inspiration to start the new year with achievable tweakment and skincare goals that will hopefully leave you with the best skin ever…

Alice Hart-Davis, founder

My tweakments resolution for 2025 is doing something about the spider veins on my legs. They’re not bad, and I tend to take the view that the number of times during the year that my legs are on show, say in shorts, is so vanishingly small that it’s hardly worth bothering about a few clusters of veins… but on the other hand they’re not very lovely and they’re not going to go away without a bit of high-tech assistance. So 2025 will be the year.

Can they be fixed quickly with injections of sclerotherapy? (IPL is great for facial thread veins but is too superficial for spider veins on the legs). I suspect I’ll need a proper scan first to see whether there are underlying, more troublesome veins (I had one of these around 10 years ago, and there weren’t, but now? Who knows). Watch this space.

I’m planning on focusing on my eyes in 2025, having more or less got my rosacea now under control, which has always been my main concern. I’ve just turned 30, and while it might be a little to do with entering a new decade, I’m definitely noticing how tired my eyes are starting to look at the end of busy working weeks. I’ve always been a little lax with using eye cream, but am promising myself to slowly introduce it into my routine this year. I’m impressed by Doctor Skin Collagen’s I-Shine Eye Cream as it has a clever microcurrent applicator to really push the formula (that’s super hydrating and depuffing) deeper into your skin.

For the best results, I also want to try polynucleotides and mesotherapy around my eyes again. I really saw the difference from these eye-brightening tweaks when I tried them once before, but want to schedule them into my routine to benefit from them in the long term too. Maybe its time to take the leap with toxin too…

Along with my usual “drink more water” resolution, I’ve set two main skin goals for 2025 that I’m actually excited about. Firstly, don’t forget the neck! Now that I’m 40+, I’ve realised I need to stop neglecting my neck. It’s time to start treating it as part of my skincare routine—no more skipping it when applying creams. I might even splurge on a proper neck cream this year, such as Alastin’s Restorative Neck Complex!

As for tweakments, 2024 was my first year trying Skinboosters, and the compliments have been nonstop! Plus, I needed way less toxin and fillers. Keeping up with them feels like a no-brainer for healthier skin and fewer lines. Here’s to glowing skin in 2025!

“My resolution is to treat myself more! I’ve always felt guilty about spending and leaned towards being super frugal, but I think next year I will remind myself that indulging every now and then is perfectly okay. Lately, while creating loads of content for the shop, I’ve found myself eyeing the Epionce Renewal Facial Lotion. With the 20% off still running, it feels like the perfect excuse to finally go for it…

In 2025, I want to spend more time on my skincare and make it more of a relaxing ritual rather than rushing through it at night. I’d like to use it as a chance to properly wind down and pamper myself, including enjoying gently massaging in a nourishing moisturiser like Calecim Professional Multi-Action Cream. My skin is really sensitive, so taking my time with each step is important, especially when I have flare-ups. I also want to focus more on understanding what’s causing them and how to manage irritation better.

I’m excited about the idea of trying a tweakment that could genuinely benefit my skin too. Although I’ve always been intrigued by them, my eczema has made me hesitant, as I’ve worried it might make it worse. In 2025, I’d love to find a treatment that not only suits my skin’s needs but also helps manage my sensitive skin, making it a top priority—both inside and out. LED light therapy is currently top of my non-invasive wish list.

As we head into 2025, I’m hoping to prioritise self-care and boost my confidence! First up, I’m really determined to stick to my evening skincare routine, and I’m finally planning to start using retinol. It’s about time, right? I can’t wait to see how it improves my skin texture. I’m also thinking of swapping my current vitamin C supplement for Altrient. I’ve heard so many amazing things about how it can really enhance my skin health and overall wellness, so I have a good feeling about adding it to my daily routine!

And on the Tweakment side of things, I’m super curious about trying the Calecim treatment for hair regrowth. It sounds so innovative, and I’m looking forward to seeing if it can make a real difference for me.

I have allergies to most toiletries which can make my skin itchy and difficult to treat. Luckily, I’ve found that lying under the Dermalux Flex soothes it as well as being generally relaxing. The only problem: I often struggle to find the time. So my resolution this year is to actually use the device at least twice a week while meditating. That way I can help my skin and my mind at the same time.
