With over 20 years of research behind it, Jalupro is a leading injectable treatment designed to revitalise your skin from within. Using a specialised formula called Amino Acid Replacement Therapy (AART), Jalupro delivers key nutrients directly where the skin needs them, to help wake up tired fibroblasts, the cells that naturally produce collagen.

Whether it’s used closer to the surface to boost glow and smooth texture, or placed deeper to support the skin’s structure, Jalupro works gently and effectively. The result is skin that looks healthier, firmer, more hydrated, and naturally radiant, with improvements that continue to develop over time.

What is Jalupro?

Jalupro is a bio-revitalising injectable that contains amino acids and hyaluronic acid to support the skin from within. Unlike treatments that rely on inflammation to trigger collagen production, Jalupro works physiologically, supplying the nutrients your skin needs to regenerate naturally.

More specifically, by nourishing the skin at a cellular level, Jalupro’s ingredients create an ideal environment for fibroblasts to function at their best. As fibroblasts are the cells that produce collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, this helps improve texture, glow, and overall skin quality. When placed deeper, the treatment can also support ligaments, helping restore subtle lift, shape, and facial structure.

What are the benefits of Jalupro?

Jalupro offers a wide range of skin-enhancing benefits. It can:

  • Support healthy collagen and elastin levels
  • Smooth fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improve texture, hydration, and radiance
  • Boost elasticity and resilience
  • Aid wound healing and tissue repair
  • Slow visible signs of ageing

Because it works with the skin rather than against it, Jalupro:

  • Provides natural-looking and long-lasting results
  • Suitable for all skin types
  • Free from animal-derived ingredients (vegan-friendly)
  • Non-inflammatory
  • Can be paired with other collagen-boosting treatments to supercharge your results

How exactly does Jalupro work?

By injecting Jalupro, key amino acids are delivered directly into the skin. Amino acids are the ‘building blocks’ of key structural proteins, so this process means fibroblasts have more of the raw materials they need to build new collagen.

Since collagen makes up 70–80% of the skin’s structure, restoring these building blocks helps reinforce firmness, strength, and overall skin health.

Ageing, sun exposure, stress, and lifestyle changes reduce fibroblast activity over time, leading to dryness, weakening skin structure, and loss of elasticity. By replenishing what the cells start to lack, Jalupro reactivates the skin’s rejuvenation processes, improving hydration, firmness, and long-term resilience.

More specifically, the Jalupro range supports skin renewal by:

  1. Feeding fibroblasts: providing the amino acids required to form collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid
  2. Restoring optimal cell function: supplying nutrients that ageing cells need to regenerate naturally
  3. Supporting connective tissue health: by improving collagen synthesis, Jalupro helps strengthen the deeper framework of the skin
  4. Improving structure and luminosity: as collagen levels rise, skin looks smoother, lifted, and more radiant.

Why We Recommend Jalupro

Alice Hart-Davis
Founder, The Tweakments Guide

Jalupro represents a breakthrough because it focuses on a different approach to skin rejuvenation. While most treatments focus on stimulating collagen indirectly, Jalupro provides fibroblasts with the essential nutrients to produce collagen and elastin themselves. This approach works at a cellular level, creating long-term structural improvements. Its multi-layered methodology - ranging from addressing surface level skin texture to deep ligament support - ensures that every skin layer receives the right nourishment. Additionally, Jalupro’s formulations do not provoke inflammation, are compatible with other treatments, and are safe for a wide range of patients, making it a holistic and versatile solution.

What are the different types of Jalupro?

Jalupro has a full portfolio of products designed to work on specific layers and areas of the skin for the best, tailored results. For example, the Glow Peel works superficially, the Classic, Young Eye and HMW work intradermally and Super Hydro targets ligaments sub-dermally. The company also supplies supplements to help further bolster collagen production.

Here’s a closer look at some of the standout products:

1. Jalupro Classic: addresses skin texture and elasticity

Jalupro Classic combines amino acids with low molecular weight hyaluronic acid to give a powerful boost to collagen production. This product delivers a great result in enhancing skin quality and appearance.

Ideal for:

  • Body: abdominal area, knees, inner thighs, scars
  • Post acne scars, stretch marks
  • Combined protocols with EBDs, PLLA, botulinum toxin
  • Pre- and post-surgical rejuvenation

2. Jalupro Young Eye: for dark circles and fine lines around the eyes

Specifically formulated for the delicate around-eye area, Jalupro Young Eye addresses common concerns such as dark circles, fine lines, and loss of firmness. It contains amino acids to provide essential nutrients for fibroblasts, and hyaluronic acid to deliver deep hydration while stimulating collagen synthesis for lifting. The formula also brightens the under-eye area, and provides a gentle muscle-relaxing effect for smoother skin.

Ideal for: around the eye area

3. Jalupro Superhydro

Jalupro Superhydro is designed to restore facial structure by targeting the deeper layers of the skin, specifically the ligaments and fat pads. Thanks to its powerful combination of 7 amino acids, biomimetic peptides, and hyaluronic acid, Jalupro Superhydro delivers a boost in collagen production, makes facial ligaments stronger, provides deep hydration and improves facial contour and shape.

Ideal for: Face only

4. Jalupro HMW: for deep hydration and nourishment

Jalupro HMW works within the dermal layer of the skin to deeply hydrate and nourish. Its amino acids feed fibroblasts to support collagen production, while high molecular weight hyaluronic acid locks in long-lasting hydration, improving elasticity, smoothness, and overall skin texture.

Ideal for:

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Decolletage
  • Hands
  • Lips

How can Jalupro help with aged lips?

“Jalupro – especially Jalupro HMW – can help patients whose primary goal is to achieve smoother, tighter, and healthier glowing skin around the perioral area,” reveals Kelly Richards from the Skin Aesthetics Clinic. “It can be especially helpful for ex-smokers, who may have prominent lines around the lip and surrounding area, which significantly impacts self-esteem. These lines can make tasks such as applying lipstick challenging, exacerbating insecurity. The treatment is also perfect for anyone clear about not wanting unnatural results, those wanting to avoid lip fillers, and those who have never undergone aesthetic treatments before. After all, Jalupro is known for its natural-looking, regenerative benefits.”

What is Jalupro used to treat

What is a treatment like to have?

Your Jalupro treatment plan is based on a 3-step programme. Firstly, you need to book a consultation with your Jalupro practitioner, who will assess your skin and determine which product is right for you for the minimally invasive injections.

Then, for each of the four treatments in your standard course (spread two to three weeks apart), the treatment area will be first cleansed and numbed with topical numbing cream. The treatment itself involves a series of tiny injections into the skin, which deliver the bio-revitalising formula directly where it’s needed to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

Most people describe the sensation as a light prickling, and the whole session usually takes about an hour including numbing time. Afterwards, you might notice a little redness or mild swelling, but this typically settles within a few hours. It is also recommended that you boost collagen production at home with the daily use of the Jalupro Amino Acid Supplement for three months, which you should be able to get through your practitioner.

How quickly can you see results?

Initial results are often visible after the first treatment, with improvements in hydration and a gentle tightening effect. However, optimal results, especially for the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, skin texture and radiance, require a course of treatments over several weeks, as collagen production is a slow, natural process that takes roughly 28 days per cycle. With repeated sessions, patients notice significant improvements in skin texture, elasticity, and firmness, with results continuing to enhance over time.

Who is it suitable for?

Jalupro is suitable for anyone seeking to restore or maintain healthy, radiant skin. It is ideal for those who want a natural approach to skin rejuvenation without relying on fillers or invasive procedures, and its non-inflammatory properties make it appropriate for first-time aesthetic patients and individuals with sensitive skin.

What areas can be treated?

Jalupro is versatile and can treat both facial and body areas depending on the specific product used. Common treatment areas include the face, neck, décolleté, hands, lips, and scalp. It can also be used on the stomach and knees and inner thighs for skin rejuvenation.

How many treatments are required?

A typical Jalupro protocol involves a course of four treatments, spaced two to four weeks apart. This gives your skin the repeated nudge it needs to kickstart collagen production properly. Collagen takes around 28 days to form, which is why results don’t appear overnight – they build gradually, so consistency is key.

Does it hurt? What is the downtime?

Your practitioner will use topical numbing cream before the injections, so most patients experience only mild discomfort or a slight stinging sensation. The downtime is also minimal, with some temporary redness, mild swelling, or pinpoint bruising possible, which typically resolves within a few hours to a couple of days. Because the treatment does not provoke inflammation, patients can usually resume normal activities immediately too.

How long do the effects of Jalupro last?

After your initial course, you can typically enjoy the benefits for around six months, though this depends on things like your age, baseline skin quality, diet and lifestyle. It isn’t a one-and-done fix because, while Jalupro can encourage our fibroblasts to make fresh collagen and elastin, our natural collagen production still continues to slow as we age, and the body gradually breaks down the new collagen over time. That means, without maintenance, results will soften.

To stay ahead of collagen decline, it’s recommended to have regular maintenance appointments every four months. Your practitioner can then assess how well your skin is holding onto the results and decide when a top-up can maximise your results.

Can our lifestyle effect fibroblast activity?

Yes. As with many things, your lifestyle can make a difference in how well cell processes work. To support fibroblasts’ activity we need to ensure we have a healthy diet rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, amino acids, copper and zinc, and drink plenty of water, reduce stress and get enough sleep.

How much does Jalupro cost?

The cost of Jalupro varies depending on the product used, the treatment area, and the number of sessions required. On average, you can expect one treatment to cost between £180 to £250, but do confirm prices with your chosen clinic, as cost can also vary depending on your location and practitioner expertise.

Are there any limitations to Jalupro?

While Jalupro is suitable for a wide range of patients, it is not a traditional filler or a skinbooster. It does not create immediate volumisation or dramatic lifting like cross-linked hyaluronic acid fillers. Instead, its effects are gradual and dependent on your body’s own cellular response over time.

Patients with certain medical conditions, active infections, or allergies to any ingredients should also consult their practitioner before treatment. Additionally, keep in mind that your results are influenced by your baseline skin quality, lifestyle factors, and adherence to recommended treatment protocols.

Can Jalupro be combined with other treatments?

Yes, and because Jalupro provides cells with the necessary nutrition to make more key structural proteins, it is particularly effective to inject it before other collagen-boosting treatments or to combine it with energy-based devices, poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and fillers.

What do clinical studies say?

A clinical study looked at 58 women aged 35–65, who had four weekly Jalupro injections. Results showed clear improvements in skin thickness, firmness and elasticity, with microscopic and ultrasound analyses confirming better dermal structure, and surface assessments revealing smoother texture and reduced fine lines. Most participants noticed this visible rejuvenation, with minimal, short-lived side effects.

So, is Jalupro a skinbooster?

No. Skinboosters are products that contain stabilised crosslinked hyaluronic acid to give hydration and fill wrinkles. Jalupro certainly improves skin quality, but technically that doesn’t mean it falls into the skinbooster category. Instead, Jalupro is what is referred to as a biorevitalisant. That means it works to improve skin quality on a cellular level, by supporting fibroblasts, and thus boosting collagen and elastin production.

What is the difference between Jalupro and other injectables?

Jalupro, Profhilo, polynucleotides, and hyaluronic acid fillers are all injectable treatments, but there are some key differences between them.

Profhilo is made with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, meaning it plumps and moisturises but doesn’t provide the building blocks fibroblasts needed for collagen production like Jalupro. It’s sometimes compared to Jalupro Super Hydro because both are injected into similar points, but their effects are different, not least because Jalupro Super Hydro doesn’t just provide plumping hydration; it is designed for ligament rejuvenation, supporting the connective tissue framework to restore facial shape and contour while protecting cells against glycation.

Equally, polynucleotides are tiny DNA fragments that stimulate fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin. While they encourage activity, they don’t supply the “fuel” that Jalupro does for deeper, longer-lasting rejuvenation. Likewise, hyaluronic acid fillers primarily add volume and hydration in targeted areas rather than actively stimulating fibroblasts.
