Profhilo Structura

Profhilo® Structura is an injectable treatment designed to lift, contour, and rejuvenate the mid-face by restoring the superficial fat pads.

You may have heard of Profhilo already – aka the ‘original injectable moisturiser’. Profhilo® Structura is from the same distributor, HA Derma, and also uses heat-cross-linked hyaluronic acid. However, the HA is in a higher concentration and the injectable focuses on fat regeneration rather than hydration-based plumping.

It uses patented NAHYCO@ technology, which stabilises a complex of high and low molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. Once injected, it activates ageing adipose fat cell receptors, helping them act like young cells, without creating obvious projections. It is placed either across the top/outside of the cheekbone or more at the side of the face depending on whether the ageing face in question is a ‘sinker or a sagger’.
