RedTouch Pro Laser

Written by: Becki Murray

Last Updated: 14 April 2026

RedTouch PRO is the first non-ablative laser designed to target the collagen in your skin directly, which means it can offer a solution for prejuvenation, laxity, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars and melasma, all with minimal downtime.

How does this clever laser do it? Instead of aggressively resurfacing or ‘heat shocking’ your skin to induce collagen production (as is the case with many lasers and energy devices), the RedTouch PRO uses a unique laser wavelength to specifically target your collagen fibres. The result: measurable skin quality improvements, without the usual side effects. And it is suitable for skin types and tones I-V.

Plus, if you’ve been hearing a lot about ‘collagen banking’ devices that can help prevent these common concerns before they even crop up, this is one of the devices driving that conversation.

How does the RedTouch Pro work?

Not only is the RedTouch PRO a non-ablative laser – which means it doesn’t damage the surface of your skin – it also operates at a proprietary 675nm wavelength that is selectively absorbed by the collagen fibres within the deeper dermis.

That means instead of merely heating the water of surrounding tissue in your skin – a technique that only triggers collagen production as a secondary response – it instead enables biostimulation. This does not burn or damage the tissue, it triggers a controlled response in the collagen, causing the fibres to contract and kickstarting a healing cascade that promotes fresh collagen production (neocollagenesis).

Leading to regeneration of the extracellular matrix, the network of proteins responsible for skin strength and elasticity.

By stimulating the body’s own collagen production directly, RedTouch PRO can therefore help soften fine lines, address mild skin laxity, improve the appearance of acne scarring and pigmentation, and support conditions such as melasma and rosacea, while maintaining a natural appearance.

In fact, clinical studies have shown the technology can stimulate multiple collagen types – including types I, II, III and IV – helping restore dermal structure and improve skin quality over time.

Why We Recommend RedTouch Pro Laser

Alice Hart-Davis
Founder, The Tweakments Guide

RedTouch Pro is currently the only device in the world that uses a 675nm laser specifically designed to stimulate collagen regeneration. By targeting collagen fibres directly rather than heating surrounding tissue, it delivers effective skin rejuvenation that is virtually pain free with minimal downtime, making it a standout option for clients seeking regenerative, longevity-focused aesthetic treatments.

What are the benefits of RedTouch Pro?

RedTouch PRO is designed to deliver both preventative and corrective skin rejuvenation in a single platform, making it suitable for a wide range and variety of skin concerns.

Key benefits include:

  • Direct stimulation of collagen fibres within the dermis
  • Improved skin firmness and elasticity
  • Smoother texture and refinement of pores
  • Reduction in fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improvement in acne scarring and uneven skin texture
  • Support for pigmentation conditions including melasma
  • Potential improvement in redness and vascular-related pigmentation
  • Non-invasive alternative to more aggressive laser or RF treatments
  • Suitable for preventative treatments as well as regenerative maintenance
  • Encourages long-term skin regeneration and “collagen banking”

How quickly can you see results?

Results from RedTouch Pro develop gradually because the treatment stimulates the body’s natural collagen production. Many clients notice improvements in skin texture and quality within weeks, while structural changes such as improved firmness typically become more noticeable in the months to come, as collagen remodelling progresses.

How is RedTouch Pro different from other laser treatments?

Virtually every other aesthetic device on the market does not actually target collagen directly. In fact, most aesthetic energy devices heat water in the skin, and collagen stimulation occurs as a secondary effect of this heating. RedTouch PRO does things differently. It is the world’s first device using a 675nm wavelength of laser light to deliver energy right to your collagen fibres, allowing the laser energy to target collagen more directly right at the source. This selective approach means collagen regeneration can occur without aggressive tissue damage or prolonged downtime.

The technology can also treat multiple skin concerns in one treatment, including fine lines, skin laxity and poor texture, and it can combine preventative and corrective treatment in one platform.

How long do results last?

Collagen qualiy improvements typically peak around three months after treatment, when newly stimulated collagen fibres reach optimal structure and strength. However, results are progressive and build up with every treatment. Regular maintenance sessions can therefore support collagen preservation and slow visible skin ageing, not only keeping your results going, but also helping delay the need for more invasive procedures later down the line.

What is RedTouch Pro Laser used to treat

How many treatments are needed?

Unlike many laser treatments that are prescribed as a fixed ‘course’, RedTouch is often positioned as a long-term collagen investment treatment that actively fights against collagen decline. It isn’t a “course of three” it is a lifetime tool and helps preserve firmness for the future.

Like any bank the more you put in the more you get out. It’s subtle, progressive and incredibly effective over time. RedTouch Pro isn’t about finishing a plan – it’s about future-proofing your skin.

What is a RedTouch Pro treatment like to experience?

It’s pretty straightforward. Following a consultation and patch test, your skin will be cleansed and prepared for treatment. Then, a conductive gel is applied before the laser handpiece is moved across the treatment area, delivering controlled pulses of 675nm light into the dermis. After the session, the gel is removed, and soothing aftercare products are applied. The treatment is fairly speedy too, taking around 30 minutes on average, depending on the size of the area being treated.

What is the downtime and recovery like?

One of the main appeals of RedTouch PRO is its minimal recovery time. As the treatment is non-ablative and does not damage the outer layer of skin, most clients can resume normal activities almost immediately after the procedure.

Some individuals may experience redness and warmth  for a few hours post-treatment, but significant downtime is uncommon.

Is RedTouch Pro painful?

It’s actually relatively comfortable, with many clients simply reporting a mild warming sensation during treatment. That’s due to some clever integrated skin-cooling technology that helps maintain comfort throughout the session. Because the treatment is non-ablative and does not damage the skin’s surface, anaesthetic cream is not usually required either.

There may be some redness post treatment, but most people don’t report having to really change their day-to-day routine.

REVIEWS

“Recently, friends have commented that my skin is looking good. My pigmentation has faded and my skin has a better texture. I feel that it looks ‘younger’. I am pleased with the overall improvements. Love all the positive comments I’m receiving!” Cath

I’m really pleased at the improvement after my RedTouch treatments. My jawline feels subtly lifted, and the texture and tone of my skin has improved. Friends keep telling me I look really well without being able to put their finger on why. The treatment itself was really comfortable, and I’m really happy to know I’m investing in my skin’s long-term health and appearance. I’m thrilled.” Sonia

I’ve been suffering with dark patches on my face for some time. They’ve appeared in several places, but most apparent on my top lip, on my nose, to the sides of each eye, in a butterfly pattern. I’ve been self-conscious, and really aware of how dark they have become. I was sceptical at first [about the treatment] – I was told it was unlikely I’d be able to get rid of them completely. But I have been thrilled with the results. Though the laser was cold, it was enjoyable – relaxing, time out of a busy day for me. I woke the next day with skin really plump, reduced pores, smooth, and glowing. [It looked] healthy! The pigmentation had deepened, but I was told it would only last a short time. Over several sessions the pigmentation has definitely reduced, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. I can see a difference, and I can now follow up with good skin care routine and SPF – which I am taking very seriously.” Catherine Grouse

“I recently had the Red Touch laser treatment, and it has made such a difference in my skin. My rosacea has noticeably calmed, and the redness that used to bother me every day has dramatically improved. The treatment was quick and comfortable, and within weeks my skin looked clearer, smoother, and more even. For the first time in a long time, I feel confident in my skin again. I’m so grateful for the results and highly recommend the Red Touch laser to anyone struggling with persistent redness or rosacea.” Stacey Fox

“As someone that suffers with rosacea and had different types of laser before, I really looked forward to RedTouch laser treatment. When having the treatment, it is very gentle, completely pain free and zero downtime which is such a plus for any laser treatment. After two sessions I can now really notice a difference in the texture and quality of my skin – it did take about eight weeks for me to see this. What is a huge difference for me is that when I have a rosacea flare up it heals ALOT quicker than it normally would and wasn’t as aggressive at all. Kirsty has been wonderful in explaining everything thoroughly and I have always felt very much at ease at Lynton, their expertise is second to none and I am really excited for my third session.” Lucy Meggitt

“With RedTouch being my first ever laser experience, I wasn’t sure what to expect - especially because there’s little to no downtime, so I underestimated it. I’ve noticed (as well as my best friend, my husband and my daughter) that my skin’s appearance has improved significantly. While my stubborn melasma has only faded slightly, it’s my improved texture, radiance and overall skin firmness that I’m most pleased with. My best friend wasn’t even aware I’d had anything done, but she noticed my skin last week when she came over. I wasn’t wearing any makeup and she said, “your skin looks really good!”. If this is what a few sessions of RedTouch can achieve, I’m excited to invest in further treatments for maintenance. Thank you Kirsty, and Lynton, for the experience.” Layla Khan

What’s the buzz around RedTouch Pro and collagen banking?

One of the defining concepts behind RedTouch PRO is its role in collagen banking – a preventative approach to ageing that focuses on maintaining collagen reserves before significant decline occurs. It’s based on the idea that protection is a better option than attempted cure (something we do agree with here at TTG!).

Collagen production naturally begins to decrease from your mid-twenties onwards – a scary thought we know – and it is this that eventually leads to loss of elasticity, fine lines and skin laxity. So, by stimulating collagen early, treatments like RedTouch PRO aim to maintain dermal structure and slow visible ageing, rather than simply resurfacing or tightening it temporarily.

For this reason, the technology is often used both regeneratively (to improve existing signs of ageing or skin damage) and preventatively as part of a longer-term treatment plan (to stop common age-related skin concerns from occurring in the first place).

So, can RedTouch Pro prevent ageing?

In truth, no treatment can completely stop the ageing process. But, because RedTouch Pro supports collagen maintenance and skin regeneration it can help slow the visible development of fine lines, wrinkles and laxity over time. By starting RedTouch treatments early, you might find you can maintain a firmer, more youthful appearance for longer and reduce the need for more aggressive or invasive treatments later in life.

Can RedTouch Pro help with melasma?

Yes. The 675nm wavelength used by RedTouch PRO has shown promising results for melasma, as it can target the collagen in the vessel walls and help strengthen them, which then may lead to the improved appearance of melasma.. However, because melasma can be complex and recurring, RedTouch PRO is often used as part of a broader treatment plan including skincare and sun protection.

Who is RedTouch Pro suitable for?

RedTouch PRO is suitable for a wide range of clients looking to improve skin quality, firmness and early signs of ageing without invasive procedures. It can be used both preventatively (typically from the late 20s or 30s onwards) and as a regenerative treatment for existing concerns such as fine lines, acne scars, pigmentation or mild skin laxity.

Because it is non-ablative, the treatment leaves the skin surface intact and typically involves little to no downtime, making it appealing to clients seeking subtle, progressive rejuvenation rather than aggressive resurfacing. That also means it is generally considered safe for skin types and tones I-V when performed by a trained practitioner.

What areas of the body can be treated?

RedTouch Pro is most commonly used on the face, but it can also treat areas that show early signs of ageing or collagen loss, including the neck, décolletage, hands and areas with acne scarring or pigmentation concerns.

Can RedTouch Pro be combined with other treatments?

Absolutely. In fact, to maximise your results for collagen loss, hydration and pigmentation, the laser is often incorporated into treatment plans alongside other tweakments such as injectables, skin boosters, microneedling or light resurfacing treatments

Is RedTouch Pro safe?

When performed by a trained practitioner, RedTouch Pro is considered a safe, clinically tested technology. As it is a non-ablative laser, the technology also had a reduced risk of complications compared to more aggressive resurfacing lasers. But, as with any aesthetic treatment, a consultation and patch test should always be performed beforehand to assess your suitability.
