Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA)-based dermal filler, meaning it stimulates collagen production.

It is designed to restore facial volume loss and treat deep lines, wrinkles, creases and folds. It works by stimulating the body’s collagen production response so that results will appear gradually (four to six months after treatment).
