Injectable moisturisers (a.k.a. Skinboosters) belong to the range of tweakments which don’t yield immediate results. Instead, they work beneath the surface to improve the skin from within over the longer term. Injectable moisturisers are generally made from hyaluronic acid—a molecule that naturally occurs within the body, can hold up to 1,000 times its own weight in water, and which supports the production of healthy collagen and elastin in the deeper layers of the skin. Over time, your body’s natural rate of hyaluronic acid production decreases, which can severely hamper your skin’s ability to remain firm and plump.
