As a qualified dentist with extensive knowledge of anatomy and the skin, Dr Bhogal founded AKB Aesthetics in 2017. Initially focusing on common aesthetic treatments such as Botox and fillers, she soon realised that she could not fully meet patient expectations and thus began her deeper exploration into aesthetics and skin care.

As a busy mother of three, maintaining a work-life balance was crucial for her mental health. In September 2021, Dr Bhogal took a leap of faith and decided to take a career break from dentistry to focus on her business. This decision brought her immense happiness and allowed her family to receive the best of her. Fully committed to this new chapter, she recently earned a Level 7 Diploma qualification in Clinical Aesthetics.

Primarily based at the Happy Body Project Wellness Centre in Bedfordshire, Dr Bhogal takes a holistic approach to treatment, recognising that one size does not fit all. Her philosophy revolves around pro-ageing, aiming to slow down the ageing process and help individuals age as gracefully as possible. Her passion for skin care began with the desire to treat patients holistically, starting with the skin. She enjoys addressing various skin conditions, including acne, teenage skin issues, pigmentation, rosacea, sensitive skin, and dull, tired, aged skin.

Improving skin health and quality is highly rewarding for Dr Bhogal, as it not only boosts a person’s confidence but also enhances the effectiveness of her other treatments by providing the best possible canvas.
