Clare McLoughlin RGN INP is the founder of Appearance Based Medicine, a leading aesthetic clinic in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. With a strong passion for advanced facial rejuvenation and aesthetic treatments, Clare has been providing natural-looking anti-ageing solutions to patients since 1999. Throughout all aspects of treatment, she is committed to delivering a patient-centred approach.

Clare’s journey to establish her own state-of-the-art clinic started with her general nurse training, which she completed in 1991. After eight years of experience in Intensive Care, she became an Independent Nurse Prescriber and an Advanced Procedure Aesthetic Nurse. Her work experience in collagen treatment started in 1999 when she worked for Transform Medical Group as an injector in London and Manchester. It was during this time that Clare decided to pursue her own passion and establish her clinic in Marlow.

For over two decades, Appearance Based Medicine has been providing safe and effective treatments to patients with various skin and ageing concerns. Clare’s dedication and hard work as the clinic’s sole practitioner have led to numerous accolades, including being awarded the title of Skin Rejuvenation Specialist of the Year – Buckinghamshire at the 2021 Global Health & Pharma Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Awards. In 2022, the clinic received the honour of the Most Outstanding Medical Aesthetic Clinic in Buckinghamshire, a recognition that Clare was thrilled to receive.
