Dr Alexis’ academic journey began at the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree. Dr Alexis then pursued her medical education at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, where she excelled and was honoured with induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honours society.

Following her passion for dermatology, Dr Alexis completed her comprehensive dermatology training at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell, during which she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Her exceptional achievements earned her the esteemed Distinguished Housestaff Award, recognizing her excellence in the field.

The early stages of her career saw Dr Alexis practicing at Tribeca Park Dermatology in New York City while simultaneously serving as a clinical instructor in dermatology at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell. In 2012, she made a significant move to the UK with her family, establishing herself in private practice in London.

Dr Alexis holds the esteemed title of consultant on the Specialist Registrar in Dermatology in the United Kingdom, showcasing her dedication and expertise in the field. Moreover, she is board certified in dermatology in the United States, reflecting her international recognition and qualifications.

As an active member of esteemed professional organisations, Dr Alexis is affiliated with the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group (BCDG), and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).
