Dr Jane Leonard
Dr Jane Leonard MBChB BSc Hons(1st) MRCGP is a fully qualified GP and cosmetic doctor with a special interest in menopause and bio-identical hormones. She has been nominated for Cosmetic Doctor of the Year for her aesthetic work, which includes dermal fillers and wrinkle-relaxing injectables. She also treats acne, psoriasis and skin pigmentation issues.
Dr Jane graduated from the University of Manchester and is a fully qualified GP and cosmetic doctor. She also has a first-class honours degree in anatomical sciences, in which she focused her studies on the anatomy of the face, head, and neck. Dr Jane completed her aesthetic training on Harley Street following a stint at The Alfred Hospital Medical Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia. Her work in dermatology research has been published in the prestigious Australasian Journal of Dermatology.
Dr Jane has attended a variety of conferences and events as a speaker. She also focuses on treating general skin problems including acne, the symptoms of aging, sagging jawlines, hyperpigmentation, and psoriasis. Her cosmetic work includes anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, including lip and cheek enhancement.
Dr Jane has been spending a lot of time more recently correcting procedures, with much of her work featuring in the media, such as The Sun and The Telegraph. Dr Jane’s emphasis is on natural-looking results and a detailed consultation is always carried out prior to the physical appointment, as comprehending and delivering a client’s wants and needs is paramount. Jane is passionate about protecting young faces, as more and more people are getting bad advice from untrained practitioners.
Having previously suffered from problematic skin herself, Dr Jane treats her clients, which range from teens to adults, with the utmost empathy and takes a 360-degree approach to her diagnostics and treatments. First and foremost, Dr Jane promotes healthy lifestyle changes before medically addressing skin concerns.
Dr Jane is a resident doctor for two health and beauty magazines, which encompasses both her GP and aesthetic work.
