Dr Joanna Christou MBBS BDS (Hons) MJDF RCS offers a high level of personalised treatments. Her discreet manner during treatments combined with her high level of expertise has made her a much sought-after aesthetic expert. She is known for her skills in Dermal Fillers, Profhilo and Silhouette Soft Thread Lift.

Dr Joanna Christou is a dual qualified dentist and medical doctor. This has allowed her to become an advanced medical aesthetic doctor with a special interest in facial musculature, gained through her years of experience in both fields.

It is her unique knowledge of the structure of the face, combined with her training in aesthetics which has allowed Dr Joanna to create the in-demand signatory ‘natural look’ for patients.

Through her perfected natural look technique of ‘Filler Sprinkles’, Dr Joanna Christou achieves youthful transformations. Her expertise has been featured in multiple articles such as Tatler (Beauty and Cosmetic Surgery Guide 2025), Grazia, and Fabric Magazine.

Dr Christou can also tackle complex facial revisions non-invasively including full facial rejuvenations, Silhouette Soft Thread Lifting, non-surgical rhinoplasty and treatment to rectify Bruxism (tooth-grinding).

Dr Christou is keen to inspire others with her enthusiasm for facial aesthetics and non-surgical procedures. She offers a high level of personalised treatment, and her excellent and discreet results speak volume for her high level of expertise, making her a much sought-after member of The Cosmetic Skin Clinic medical team.

She studied in oral and maxillofacial surgery at University College London Hospital, Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’ School of Medicine and Dentistry, and Queen Mary University of London, gaining degrees with licence to practice in both medicine and dentistry. She added to her expertise at Harvard Dental School in Boston, MA and The New York University College of Dentistry.

Dr Christou is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC no. 7410128) and the General Dental Council (GDC no. 113777). She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and operates out of the Imperial NHS Trust surgical team. Dr Christou is also a key member of the CSC Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Advisory Committee, ensuring we provide our patients with the highest quality results and best possible care.
