Dr Rita Poddar BDS, Dip MJDF, MFDS RCS (Eng) holds a bachelor's degree in dental surgery from Glasgow University as well as Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of The Royal College of Surgeons of England. Dr Poddar is a cosmetic dental surgeon and clinical dental director of the multi-award-winning Peppermint Group. In her capacity as aesthetics director, she specialises in non-surgical facelifts and anti-ageing.

Dr Rita Poddar trained at the Faculty of Medicine at Glasgow University, Royal College of Surgeons of England and gained a diploma with Dr Zein Obagi in Beverly Hills. At her Glasgow-based cosmetic dental clinic, Dr Rita practises facial aesthetics, non-surgical facelifts and anti-ageing alongside ZO skincare, ZO skin health and ZO medical. Dr Rita is the only certified clinician in Scotland carrying out Dr Zein Obagi’s ZO controlled depth designer blue peel.

Dr Poddar believes wholeheartedly in the importance of increasing confidence and knowledge among her patients. She endeavours to explain every step she takes in her consultations to ensure that her patients’ expectations are managed and achieved. Dr Poddar also spends time widening her already vast knowledge of aesthetics by attending masterclasses and conferences all around the world. Recently she was invited to be a key speaker at the Royal Bank of Scotland entrepreneurial accelerator program which was streamed live to all RBS business customers throughout the UK. Dr Poddar believes that it is crucial for her patients to come away feeling that they are the best possible version of themselves, both in terms of results and their own personal confidence levels.
