Dr Sajjad Rajpar is a Consultant Dermatologist and Medical Director at Midland Skin, bringing over 20 years of specialist experience to his practice.

His commitment to dermatology excellence is evident throughout his distinguished career, from his academic achievements to his ongoing contributions to the field.

With a decade of service as a Consultant Dermatologist at University Hospital Birmingham, Dr Rajpar led both the skin surgery and Mohs surgery departments, gaining invaluable experience in complex dermatological cases. He has been practising at Midland Skin for more than 10 years, establishing the clinic as a centre of excellence for dermatological care in the region.

At Midland Skin, Dr Rajpar has developed one of the region’s most comprehensive dermatology-led laser services, using fully ablative and fractional CO₂ and Erbium resurfacing, hybrid and “cold” laser platforms, broadband light and targeted pigment and vascular treatments to address acne scarring, etched lines, sun damage, redness, pigmentation, active acne and early precancerous change.  He is particularly known for managing complex resurfacing cases, including laser rejuvenation, acne scars and rhinophyma, where careful planning and staged treatment can achieve significant yet natural-looking improvements in skin quality and contour.

He also has a particular interest in helping women navigate the skin and hair changes of perimenopause and menopause – including dryness, sensitivity, rosacea-like flushing, breakouts, pigmentation and thinning hair, drawing on his work as the “skin guru” for the Balance menopause app.

Dr Rajpar’s intricate knowledge of facial anatomy has been developed through performing several hundred facial surgeries each year. This extensive surgical experience allows him to deliver aesthetic treatments in a safe and effective manner, with a focus on creating harmony and balance to facial features whilst achieving natural results.

Dr Rajpar believes in simple yet highly optimised skincare routines. Drawing on his extensive clinical experience, he has designed and formulated specialist skincare serums that reflect his evidence-based approach to skin health. His philosophy combines medical expertise with practical, achievable skincare solutions for his patients.
