Dr Selina Ahmed earned her degrees in Medicine and Surgery from the esteemed University of Manchester in 2010. She is a practising GP in London and gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology, completed with distinction in 2020.

Dr Ahmed owns a successful medical aesthetic clinic, Dr Selina Clinics, in South Woodford, London.

Dr Ahmed’s vision was to create a medical clinic that stands out for its ethical approach – a place where safety, natural results, and patient welfare are paramount, led by a professional doctor. Serving as the Medical Director of Dr Selina Clinics for 7 years, she is continuously updating her clinic with the latest treatments to provide innovative and effective solutions.

She is a big believer that no one should look “done” with aesthetic treatments and is committed to enhancing natural beauty with a personalized approach to each patient’s needs, in a calm and relaxing environment.

Dr Selina is absolutely amazing at what she does!

Dr Selina was so patient and professional with me! I’ve had so many treatments elsewhere over the years – waxing, laser facials, ice sculpt, hair cut, hair colour, etc They usually treat you like a conveyer belt, in and out, as quick as possible.

Dr Selina takes her time and she actually listens. I’ve always said that anyone in the medical / aesthetic field should receive basic communication training and psychology training (I’ve had SO many bad experiences). She embodies a gold standard – she understands people, their motivations, their fears, their goals with their skin/face and she does everything with care.

I went to her once and keep going back ever since, I won’t go to anyone but her, I know I’m in safe hands!

I recently had botox, filler and am undergoing polynucleotide treatment at Selina’s clinic. The whole process went smoothly from start to finish. Selina coordinated the appointments and completed the treatments with individualised care and precision. I was impressed by how knowledgeable, friendly, and non-judgemental she was as she listened to my concerns and worries and addressed every point in our conversation. I did not feel any pressure to have any treatment completed during my consultation; instead, she ensured that I could spend time away, deliberate my next steps and then come back to a carefully crafted plan and treatment timetable. I felt comfortable during the day of treatment, but I was apprehensive about the results. I didn’t want my children, family, and coworkers to look at me and be able to tell I had filler done on my face. I was also nervous about the pain during treatment. However, I did not need to worry about any of it.
I had such a delightful welcome from Selina. She made me feel at ease. She went through the whole process with me and asked again if I had any more questions before we started. Selina took great care of my face. When she finished, I saw myself. I loved the reflection. I looked fresh and bright. I can’t thank her enough for her kindness and expertise. I will most definitely be coming back and bringing with me my nearest and dearest.
