Dr Zainab Al-Mukhtar BDS, MFDS RCS Ed, MJDF RCS Eng is clinical director of the very reputable clinic, Harrow On The Hill Dental & Facial Aesthetics, in North London, attracting patients worldwide.
With her unique combined skillset in smile design and facial sculpting, Dr Zainab uses a multi-modal approach with soft tissue injectables and aesthetic dentistry to optimise facial harmony, with a very high satisfaction rate from her patients. She is known for her eye for detail and natural-looking results. Dr Zainab is highly experienced in non-surgical rhinoplasty, lip shaping, profile balancing, and overall facial contouring. She has many years of experience in skin rejuvenation for which she uses injectables, radiofrequency microneedling and CO2 laser to treat her patients.
Dr Zainab has long been an advocate for safety in aesthetics. She was one of the earliest injectors in the UK to adopt facial ultrasound, a pivotal tool in the prevention and treatment of aesthetic complications. She has taught, lectured and written on its benefits in multiple journals and audiences in 2022.
A passionate educator, Dr Zainab has been a clinical trainer since 2014 and co-created a comprehensive Facial Contouring Masterclass with the UK’s leading award-winning academy, Acquisition Aesthetics, where she also co-teaches the Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Masterclass.
Dr Zainab speaks at national conferences on various subjects around facial aesthetics and dentistry. She has been awarded ‘Highly Commended’ for multiple awards over recent years: ‘Best Young Dentist’ award 2020, ‘Facial Aesthetics Full Facial Treatment’ award 2021. and Best Facial Aesthetics Practice 2022.
Her clinic also recently won ‘Best Practice Brand & Design’ in 2022. She is a Key Opinion Leader for Philips Oral Health – a role in which she contributes to peer and public education.
