Emma Coleman
Cosmetic Nurse
Years of Practice: 11
Emma Coleman is a CQC-Registered Dermatology and Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner with two clinics in Kent, as well as a Harley Street presence. She worked in the NHS for 20 years, which was wonderful, as this was where she learned her craft and gained experience in Dermatology before gaining a Clinical Dermatology Diploma via the University of South Wales. She trained in Aesthetics in 2015 and opened her first clinic in her house in the same year, with the aim of offering a holistic and gentle approach to skin and cosmetic enhancements.
Over the past nine years, Emma has seen her practice grow steadily to include a range of solutions to almost any skin concern, from pigmentation and sun damage to thread veins, fine lines and wrinkles, lesion removal, acne, rosacea, cellulite, and skin laxity on the face and body. She also sees clients of all ages with Dermatology concerns.
In 2023, her clinics achieved CQC Registration, and she is excited to offer a wide range of clinically proven technologies including Morpheus 8, IPL, Hydrafacial, and ND YAG / Alex lasers.
Emma’s first thought when meeting a client is always to provide care and a personal service; each and every one of her clients is unique and special, and she always says, “our clients are like family members.” Today, she is very lucky to have an amazing team around her and a diverse client base.
Skincare, and in some cases prescriptions, feature heavily in her skin treatment programmes because the products which clients use at home will enhance the treatments offered in-clinic. Everyone wants to achieve the best results possible in the fastest time. Emma launched her Emma Coleman Skincare range in 2020 with three key products, and since then the range has grown to include eleven products. The range is unique in that the products are formulated with both active and natural ingredients to achieve better nourished and conditioned skin.
Aside from her in-clinic work, Emma is a regular judge for the Aesthetics Awards, Good Housekeeping, and most recently, The Platinum Beauty Awards. Writing has always been a passion, and she has had several clinical articles published in Aesthetics Journal and The Journal of Aesthetic Nursing over the years. Her latest clinical review will be published in June 2024. She speaks at industry events including CCR and ACE, which helps keep her knowledge fresh as she has to read and analyse clinical papers. Emma also writes a monthly column for PBL Magazine on a range of skin-focused topics, and a monthly blog for Magnitone UK, for whom she is Senior Brand Ambassador.
