Jill Smith left school at 17 and went straight to Nursing college to begin her long and varied career, qualifying in 1991 as an RGN. Her roles have included ITU, GP practice, education/training, sexual health and laterally as an addictions nurse specialist, leaving the NHS in 2021.

Jill’s aesthetics career began in 2016, a new found passion within the field of Aesthetic Medicine. This journey only affirmed her belief in the importance of self care, physical and emotional wellness.

Jill has an ongoing passion for patient safety, education and thrives on new and interesting challenges. Nothing fits this criteria more than Aesthetic Medicine. She is fully registered with the NMC as an RGN and Independent Prescriber, is a registered service provider with Healthcare Improvement Scotland and established a network of almost 700 Scottish medical practitioners to reduce isolation and provide peer to peer supported connections.

Harm reduction is an area Jill has had many years of experience in and within an otherwise unregulated Industry actively campaigns for tougher legislation and the promotion of patient safety. She is also a member of CMAC, a resource for complications management, keeps up to date with an ever changing industry and attends numerous training opportunities regularly.

Jill holds a certificate in clinical education and offers in-clinic mentoring, clinical supervision and practice development, utilising her vast clinical experience and knowledge. She also provides a DPP and PS role for those undertaking their prescribing qualifications.

An exciting role for Jill is as a brand ambassador for Fillmed as their designated Scottish trainer. This role has seen her travel throughout the UK and abroad, attended training and learning opportunities with Industry experts from across the globe. Jill aims to bring the most up to date, safest and innovative treatments to her clinic along with her commitment and enthusiasm for her chosen area of medicine.

Ensuring her patients leave feeling more confident in their skin and safe within her care is at the heart of her business and strives to provide high service standards her patients deserve.
