Julie Scott RGN NIP is an award-winning NMC registered Independent Nurse Prescriber and Level 7 qualified aesthetic injector and trainer. With over 25 years of experience in skin rejuvenation, Julie is the Clinical Director of Facial Aesthetics clinic in Essex.

With a background in reconstructive surgery, Julie’s interest in non-surgical cosmetics developed after working as the clinical nurse specialist for a successful Harley Street clinic of four renowned plastic surgeons. In 2003, Julie opened Facial Aesthetics providing a wide range of treatments and therapeutic techniques for skin ageing and dermatological skin conditions.

Julie is on the Clinical Advisory Board for the Aesthetics Journal and is a Key Opinion Leader for several leading aesthetic brands. She’s an Aesthetic Awards Judge, Advisory Board Expert Advisor, and leads research for new aesthetic products. Her dedication to patient care earned her the WhatClinic Patient Satisfaction Award for five years running.

She runs a Clinical and Business Mentoring Program (https://facialaestheticsmentoring.co.uk/) and offers consultancy support and research (https://facialaestheticsconsultancy.co.uk/). Julie has written over 25 articles and presented at 20 conferences in the past 18 months alone.

Julie is dedicated to promoting skin health for her patients and believes in prevention and maintenance to achieve maximum skin health. With decades of experience administering aesthetic injectables, Julie was awarded ‘Best Nurse Practitioner of the Year’ at both the 2022 & 2024 Aesthetic Awards and the 2024 Aesthetic Medicine awards – She is the only practitioner to achieve these triple accolades. Her clinic was also awarded ‘Best Clinic South of England’ at the 2023 Aesthetics Awards.

Outside of her work at the clinic, Julie combines her passion for teaching and promoting safety within the industry by sharing her expertise as the Lead Trainer for Interface Aesthetics.
