Karen Moseley is a highly experienced Registered Nurse and Independent Nurse Prescriber who qualified as a nurse in 2000. She has built a broad and clinically diverse career within the NHS, having worked across Accident & Emergency, primary care, and oncology, gaining extensive experience in acute care, long-term condition management, and complex patient needs. These roles laid a strong medical foundation and continue to inform her calm, measured approach to aesthetic practice.

Karen began her career in medical aesthetics in 2014, initially alongside her NHS roles, ensuring her practice was firmly grounded in evidence-based medicine and patient safety. For many years, she successfully balanced both, developing her skills, clinical judgement, and aesthetic eye. In 2022, Karen transitioned into aesthetics full-time, allowing her to dedicate her full focus to advancing her practice and delivering the highest standard of care to her patients.

With over 18 years of experience as an Independent Nurse Prescriber, Karen brings advanced knowledge of clinical assessment, diagnosis, and pharmacology to her work. She holds a Level 7 qualification in Clinical Aesthetics and remains committed to continuous professional development, ensuring her skills and knowledge remain current within an evolving industry. Karen is a proud member of the Aesthetic Complications Expert Group (ACE) and the British Association of Medical Aesthetics Nurses (BAMAN), reflecting her commitment to professional accountability, best practice, and patient safety.

Karen is the founder of Avismo Aesthetics & Skin Ltd, a Save Face-accredited clinic based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. She advocates strongly for safe, ethical, and clinically appropriate treatment choices, with a particular focus on subtle, natural-looking and restorative results. Her approach prioritises facial harmony, skin health, and long-term outcomes over short-term trends.
