Kate Monteith-Ross is a Registered Nurse Practitioner with more than ten years of experience in the aesthetics field, and over twenty in the field of education. She is the Owner of The Clinic by La Ross.

She holds a Master’s degree in Adult Nursing, a Postgraduate Degree in Education, and Qualified Teacher Status, which enables her to train and mentor other medical professionals. She is also an independent prescriber and wound care specialist.

Her career extends beyond clinical practice. She is the Director of Urban Training Academy UK, The Patient Recovery Network, and co-founder of The Nurses Network, making her one of the three founding nurses who established the organisation. The Nurses Network is dedicated to supporting medical practitioners in their aesthetic practice, and Kate supports practitioners in their journey to aesthetics by working with them within a mentorship program which work with practitioners to develop their skills outside the clinic room: Clinician to CEO, Clinician to Global Speaker, clinician to Published Author.

Kate was awarded Medical Aesthetic Practitioner of 2022 and 2023 for the South East of the UK and was a finalist at the Safety in Beauty Awards 2023, 24 and 25 for UK Aesthetic Nurse of the Year. She is passionate about patient safety and is registered with the Aesthetic Complication Experts and CMAC. She is also an international key opinion leader for Dermalux, Neogen and Bloomea, she regularly lectures and presents internationally on subjects including complication mitigation, infection control, regenerative medicine, and combination therapies.

She has been featured in Vogue, Platinum Magazine, Top Sante and various medical journals where she published multiple times a year.

Founded in 2016, The Clinic by La Ross is a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered medical aesthetics clinic based in the United Kingdom. The clinic offers a wide range of treatments designed to address concerns such as acne, pigmentation, rosacea, anti-ageing, facial contouring, hormone therapies, slimming support, and wellness treatments including vitamin therapy and supplements.

The clinic also offers pre and post surgical care and a free clinic to patients who may have suffered complications from having surgery abroad and the clinic have developed direct referral pathways for patients to expedite their care.

The clinic is known for its patient-centred approach, prioritising safety, evidence-based practice, and personalised care. It also specialises in corrective work for patients who have experienced complications from procedures performed elsewhere, ensuring that recovery and long-term wellbeing are at the forefront of treatment.
