Mr Florian Bast is an internationally recognised Rhinologist, ENT and Facial Plastic Surgeon, known for his precision, dedication, and patient-centred approach.

With more than 17 years of surgical experience across Europe, the USA, and Australia, he has built a reputation as one of the UK’s leading specialists in complex rhinoplasty and facial aesthetic procedures. He holds double board certification, advanced subspecialty training, and has completed a prestigious craniofacial and facial plastic surgery fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

Mr Bast’s practice is defined by a philosophy that prioritises patient well-being and collaboration over commerce. Every surgery is approached as a highly individual journey, with a focus on empowering patients to make informed decisions. Around 90% of his clinical work is dedicated to rhinoplasty—both functional and aesthetic—which has allowed him to develop a level of expertise that few surgeons achieve. In addition to facial surgery, he also offers advanced aesthetic treatments, including Morpheus8, and is among the most experienced UK surgeons performing Endoscopic Balloon Dilatation of the Eustachian Tube.

His academic contributions are equally significant. Mr Bast is the founder and Director of the Aesthetic and Functional Use of Cosmetic Injectables Course for Doctors in Berlin, held biannually, and he is a sought-after speaker at national and international surgical conferences. He regularly publishes in peer-reviewed journals and serves as an editorial reviewer for major scientific papers in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery.

His training pathway reflects his international outlook: medical studies and surgical training at the University of Heidelberg, Germany; clinical experience at NYU in New York, the University of Sydney in Australia, and the University of Zurich in Switzerland. He was awarded the German Board Certification as Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in 2011, followed by Sub-specialisation in Facial Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2015

Mr Bast is an active member of the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe (RSE), the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), and the German Society of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. His work has been recognised with multiple honours, including Aesthetic Award Winner 2025 – Best Surgical Result and finalist status at the Aesthetic Medicine Awards.

Beyond his clinical and academic commitments, Mr Bast devotes time to mentoring and charitable work, including his ongoing involvement with the international charity Facing the World since 2013. Outside medicine, he enjoys cooking, travelling, and staying active, but his greatest joy comes from time spent with his young son.
