I am a consultant plastic surgeon specialising in body contouring procedures. I earned my medical degree in 1997 and subsequently completed a four-year specialisation in General Surgery in 2002, during which I performed numerous major elective and emergency procedures. Following this, I pursued advanced training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the United Kingdom, focusing on microsurgery, as well as breast, body, and limb aesthetics and reconstruction. I completed fellowships in hand surgery and breast reconstruction, and hold the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (FRCS Plast) as well as the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS).

During my tenure and a consultant within the National Health Service (NHS), I developed the breast reconstruction service at Bedford Hospital by introducing microsurgical free flap reconstruction techniques, such as the Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator (DIEP) flap, and performing complex breast surgeries. My team was nominated twice for the hospital’s ‘Team of The Year Award’ and received the ‘Service Improvement and Innovation Award’ in November 2018.

My practice has been fully private since 2019 focused on body contouring procedures, including liposuction, gluteal lipofilling (commonly known as the Brazilian Butt Lift or BBL), abdominoplasty, and surgeries involving the breasts, calves, and male pectoral enhancements using both standard and custom-made implants. In 2020, I introduced ultrasound-guided gluteal lipofilling to the UK to enhance the safety and precision of BBL procedures. Collaborating with the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), I co-authored national guidelines on gluteal fat grafting safety, published in October 2022.

I am on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery and maintain active memberships with several professional organisations, including the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), and the UK Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (UKAAPS).
