Acne Scarring: Dermal Fillers

Some acne scars, such as ice pick scars, can be treated with dermal fillers. Dermal fillers are generally comprised of a hyaluronic acid gel which is highly biocompatible and can be injected into the scar to lift out the depression. Results are not permanent but this can offer a solution to unsightly scars.
