Vitamin C serums (or creams, or masks) will nourish your skin and help to protect against further environmental damage, which can cause lines to form on the skin. Vitamin C serum also improves the levels of collagen and elastin in the skin – these two proteins are vital to keeping the skin firm and springy, and as levels of these two proteins drop in the skin (as we age) and the skin loses its elasticity, it begins to wrinkle more. So boosting levels of these proteins is key to keeping skin looking young and firm.
