If you want to try retinol for the first time, this is a great place to start. Retinol stimulates the growth of new collagen – for firmer, smoother skin, fewer wrinkles, reduced pigmentation and more even skin tone. It can also make older skin renew itself more quickly, balance oil production and decongest pores.
It contains 0.3% pure retinol, the optimum level for improvements in the skin with minimal irritation. It releases the retinol gradually into your skin overnight, making it easier to tolerate than if it were all dumped at once. It feels slightly oily, as it’s in a jojoba oil base but it won’t upset oily skin because jojoba oil is really light and hydrating. This is a step-up system, so once your skin has acclimatised to this – maybe after a couple of bottles worth – you can move onto the Retinol 6TR for more pronounced results.

- The ‘3’ of 3TR shows it contains 0.3% pure retinol, the optimum level for improvements in the skin with minimal irritation. The TR stands for Time Release – the formula releases the retinol gradually overnight, making it easier to tolerate than if it were all dumped into your skin at once.
- It feels slightly oily, as it’s in a jojoba oil base but it won’t upset oily skin because jojoba oil is really light and hydrating.
Use just a couple of drops at night – twice a week for two weeks, then three times a week for three weeks, so your skin can acclimatise to it without upset. This is a step-up system, so once your skin has acclimatised to this – maybe after a couple of bottles worth – and become ‘retinized’, you can move onto the Retinol 6TR, which is a bit stronger, for more pronounced results.

Great – taking years off
This is wonderful and powerful stuff. Improves my teenage daughter’s acne amazingly and is also a great boost for my middle aged skin.
I find droppers difficult to use but the lotions seems nice. Takes a while to be absorbed and it’s too early tell with it has made any improvement to my skin.
