What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy involves injecting a special cocktail of skin reviving ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and vitamins into the middle layers of the skin (the ‘mesoderm’, as it is called in France where the treatment originated) to hydrate, plump and revive the skin. The injections can be done freehand, or with a mechanised needle-gun, which sounds terrifying but is perfectly comfortable. Skin is left plumped up and looking radiant and glowing.

Where is mesotherapy used:
How does mesotherapy work:
A solution containing skin-boosting ingredients (there is no set recipe for this mixture, and different clinics offer different concoctions) is injected into the skin with multiple, pinprick injections, where it nourishes and hydrates the skin by providing vitamins, antioxidants and moisturising hyaluronic acid.
How long does mesotherapy last:
Instantly plumped up skin, with a healthy radiance to it.
After treatment/down time:
It is possible that the needling might leave bruising, and skin may be flushed after so many injections in one go, but any redness should retreat within 24 hours.
Things to bear in mind:
Do it a day or two before a big event rather than on the day, and you’ll look radiant.
