Dr Amelia Davidson is a highly skilled and forward-thinking Ophthalmic Surgeon based in Oxfordshire and West London. Graduating from medical school with first-class honours, she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from King’s College, London, for her study of Advanced Human Anatomy. Her Ophthalmology training took place on the prestigious Oxford rotation.

As a practising surgeon in the NHS, Dr Davidson holds a full licence to practise with the General Medical Council. She also pursued a postgraduate qualification in botulinum toxin and dermal fillers at the Harley Academy, London, learning from some of the top aesthetics practitioners in the field.

Passionate about clinical research and evidence-based medicine, she has presented work on both national and international platforms and published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr Davidson is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and a Member of the British Oculoplastic Surgical Society. Her dedication to teaching and training is evident as she regularly examines at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists’ postgraduate examinations and played a key role in setting up the simulation training lab and links between Oxford and Alcon Academy.

Dr. Davidson places a strong emphasis on quality and safety, serving on the board for Quality Review at Health Education England. Dr Davidson treated me with Botox for axillary hyperhidrosis. She has been excellent from start to finish and really put me at ease during the consultation and procedure. Knowing she is surgically trained is extremely reassuring. The results have been fantastic, and I can’t believe I didn’t get this treated sooner. I attended the clinic and had a thorough review with Dr Davidson regarding the use of Botox on my forehead. The Doctor was very thorough and explained in ‘layman’s’ terminology the pros and cons of going ahead with treatment. I proceeded with the treatment, and the attention to detail and the gentle but confident manner in which the procedure was undertaken was highly impressive. No pain, and a week later, the improvements to my forehead are amazing. I cannot recommend this Doctor, who is a qualified eye surgeon in the NHS highly enough. I shall be returning imminently for filler treatment.
