Mr Christopher D’Souza
Mr Christopher D’Souza is an award-winning hair transplant surgeon, with extensive experience in Follicular Unit Excision (FUE) and Strip Follicular Unit Transplantation (Strip FUT).
Mr D’Souza graduated from Barts and the London School of Medicine & Dentistry in 2006. He embarked upon a surgical career, training in a wide range of surgical disciplines such as plastic surgery, trauma & orthopaedics and maxillofacial surgery, before completing his membership exams to the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010. He then moved to South Africa to further his clinical skills, gaining valuable experience in burns and trauma surgery. Returning to the UK in late 2011 he completed a masters degree in Surgical Science at Imperial College London, before returning to the NHS as a clinical fellow in the plastic surgery unit at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.
He went on to train in both modern surgical techniques of hair transplant surgery, Follicular Unit Excision (FUE) and Strip Follicular Unit Excision (Strip FUT), and since 2014 has practised exclusively in this speciality. He is a fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and has performed thousands of hair transplant surgeries, achieving consistently good results and excellent feedback from his patients.
Mr D’Souza has been part of the executive committee of the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery since 2017 and was voted in as President in 2021. He is also part of the executive committee of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) where he currently serves as Secretary and Chair of the Oral Examination Committee.
