Oil-free sunscreen is important too! Acne is an inflammatory condition, and UV light makes it worse (as well as causing hyperpigmentation of the blemishes). In addition to this, you especially need to ramp up your UV protection if you’re using a retinoid, as these make your skin much more sensitive to daylight. As above, pick an oil-free sunscreen if you prefer.
